Interim Leader - Consultant
Jeffrey possesses over thirty years of extensive healthcare experience, having held a variety of roles throughout the healthcare continuum. His background includes positions such as physical therapy technician, respiratory therapy technician, and phlebotomist prior to becoming a nurse. As a registered nurse he has held roles as staff nurse, clinical nursing instructor, case manager, nursing supervisor, nursing director, mentor, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Nursing Officer. He has worked in settings ranging from a small 25-bed critical access hospital to a large suburban hospital with over 450 beds. Recognized for his leadership abilities, Jeffrey excels in team building, enhancing departmental productivity, refining operational efficiencies, and conducting comprehensive chargemaster reviews. He has a proven track record of stabilizing departments during challenging times and a hands-on leader who fosters strong relationships and adapts effectively to changing circumstances.
Jeffrey began his career as a staff nurse in a 40-bed Medical/Surgical Unit He expanded his nursing expertise in a 42-bed emergency department and eventually progressed to a supervisory position. Since 2002, he has held various roles, managing multiple departments such as the Emergency Department, ICU, Critical Care, Step Down, and Cardiac Telemetry. Additionally, Jeffrey has been serving as an interim leader since 201 and holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ICS (Incident Command), and Lean methodologies. He finds great fulfillment in making a impact on the lives of others.
Some of Jeffrey's notable achievements guiding an organization to achieve SCPC Level 4 chest pain accreditation, conducting a chargemaster review that generated over $500,000 in additional revenue, enhancing ED flow to reduce throughput times, overall length of stay, and LW rates, as well as mentoring individuals to become future organizational leaders and successors.
